This is gonna be intense.
PALM SPRINGS, CA - It's been a long time since I've thought a new Nicolas Cage flick showed any potential, but here we are, and this looks awesome, or in the very least, it's an excellent trailer.
I've yet to see Beyond the Black Rainbow, even though it's been near the top of my watch list for quite awhile, and now that director's second film is on the way and it looks like a stunner. If it wasn't enough that director is the son of George P. Cosmatos, who helmed gems including Rambo: First Blood Part II, Cobra and Leviathan, then Nicolas Cage in chainsaw fights, amongst a lush, creepy noir backdrop? That just about settles it then, now don't it?
