GusGus

Lies Are More Flexible

Look who is back. Again. Who would have thought when GusGus started in 1995 they would continue 23 years with multiple lineup changes and now this, their 10th album. Not even I expected that. And all the while they just seem to get better and better as they go along. Cool, Icelandic techno soul is generally how they describe it these days, a sort of change from their initial "volcanic, icy trip-hop" or whatever they were originally described as. And yet, despite their ever-changing sound, the core of what GusGus remains the same, and each album only compliments the other. Put this album on. It WILL speak to you.
